Hi, I'm Veronica (she/her)! 🙂

For my recent publications, visit my Google Scholar.

I am a PhD student at the University of Michigan, advised by Venkatesh Potluri and Dhruv (DJ) Jain. I am also a Rackham Merit Fellow. Before starting at Michigan, I graduated from Carnegie Mellon University, where I was advised by Andrew Begel and received a Judith A. Resnik Award HM.

My research focuses on human factors of software engineering. I am interested in combining psychology theories (eg. co-presence, cognitive load) with empirical software engineering to better support developer productivity and well-being, specifically for developers with disabilities.

I frequently collaborate with other Universities and industry researchers (most recently from Microsoft Research). Read more of my work with MSR here (on gen AI for software engineering) and (on gen AI for design).

Important News! - I've been featured in Microsoft Research's New Future of Work Report for 2025! (see page 64)
